Gervasio Troche Gutiérrez was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. His childhood was spent in Mexico and France. He has lived in Uruguay since 1985.

He began drawing as a child and in 1993 he began his training at the Tunda y Ombú comic drawing workshop. His career began with work published in his neighbourhood magazine El Tejano. In 2006 he contributed a daily comic strip to the Uruguayan newspaper La República.

On the international scene, he has had work published in magazines such as Redes Para la Ciencia, La Cultura del Duodeno and El Estafador (Spain) and Bravo (Brazil). He currently contributes to the magazines Larva (Colombia), La Peste (Mexico), Rascunho (Brazil), Hecho en Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Lento (Uruguay).
